XC Skiing & Snowshoeing- Mt Adams offers miles of groomed cross-country ski trails interlace with snowmobile routes on the south and west flanks of Mt Adams. Trails originate from several regularly plowed Sno-Parks near 3000′ elevations close to Trout Lake, WA.
Sno-Park Permits are required for snow parks and ski resorts in Washington. The Mt. Adams Chamber Visitor Center sells non-motorized sno-park permits for Washington.
Pineside Sno-Park lies north of Trout Lake offers 20 miles of groomed ski and snowshoe trails (non-motorized use only). 6 Pineside/Snow King XC Ski Trail Maps, Mt Adams, WA
Snow King Sno-Park lies north of Trout Lake and is a couple of miles beyond Pineside Sno-Park. The area accesses 20 miles of non-motorized, groomed cross-country ski trails and many miles of backcountry ski and snowmobile terrain.
Atkisson Sno-Park lies a few miles west of Trout Lake and offers 16k of ski and snowshoe trails (marked but not groomed). This Sno-Park features a warming hut with wood stove. It provides access to the Guler Ice Caves and Natural Bridges areas.
